We've been celebrating with you, and providing your Guest-Book Platters, for ten
years! A personalized, hand-painted guest-book platter is a great alternative to the traditional run-of-the-mill
guestbook. Makes a terrific gift for any occasion--we've done guest-book platters for weddings, retirements, showers,
birthdays, anniversaries, and a nun's golden jubilee! You name it, we'll do it!
How does it work?
You choose a platter (don't
worry, we'll help you pick the piece that's the right size for the number of signatures you expect). If you'd like
to paint the lettering and border yourself, there is no additional fee. If you'd like us to paint the lettering
and a simple border for you, it's just a $10 studio fee for a basic border and writing, plus the cost of the platter.
For a more intricate design that may require greater than 1 hour of artwork, an additional $15 will be added. We
will be happy to discuss several design options/prices with you within our studio!
We'll loan
you the glazing pencils you must use for signing pottery; you bring the platter, pencils and the instruction sheet we provide to the
event, and have a GREAT TIME! After the party, return the platter to us; we'll overglaze and fire it
for you, (please don't forget to return the glazing pencils!) and it will be ready for you to pick up in about a week.
